This is a hand stitched embroidery piece with a mixed media concept. A linen fabric is layered with felt and embroidery to form the grass leaves and the pot, I have used different stitches and techniques and the delicate stalks leave the canvas in growth.

Inspiration

I went for a walk through Kensington Gardens, it was an overcast day and the noticeable change of seasons had started, but the green of the grasses in the water features was still strong so I took some photos and did some sketches and decided to do a vibrant take on the beautiful gardens.
