Embroidery Hoop Art | Royal Swan | Wall Art

I have made this beautiful queen swan mixed textile embroidery with faux leather for the swan and beautiful cottons for the patterns, flowers and stars. She is just swanning around and being all queen like with her golden crown.

This is a 18.5cm hoop fully backed with blue felt and ready to hang.

This embroidery art took around 8 hours to complete, including design time, and is unique and hand stitched by myself.

Inspiration

I love nature and animals, I have started making some lovely textile art with embroidery and other elements and really wanted to add the two living elements together. I like to add a design that isn't taken directly from nature and mix it together. I love swans, they are so elegant and it allows me to use a stitch of gold.
