I have hand sewn this art piece with beautiful autumnal coloured threads. It is a representation of one of my favourite autumn plants Physalis alkekengi in a herbarium image showing different parts of the plant at different stages during the autumn and winter.

Inspiration

I love autumn and this is one of my favourite plants of the season, which really comes into its own at this time of year. I also love collecting plants for my herbarium so this is inspired by herbarium sample that has been pressed.
