Hair Towel Instructions

Using a hair towel with an elastic tie is a simple and effective way to dry your hair quickly and comfortably. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  1. Start with Damp Hair: After washing your hair, gently squeeze out excess water using your hands or a regular towel. Don't rub too harshly to avoid frizz or breakage.

  2. Position the Towel: Hold the hair towel by the elastic tie end, and bend forward so your hair falls in front of you. Place the wider part of the towel at the nape of your neck.

  3. Wrap the Hair: With the towel draped over your head, gather your hair into the narrower part of the towel. Twist the towel gently along the length of your hair to secure it in place.

  4. Secure with the Elastic Tie: Once you've twisted the towel around your hair, lift it up towards the back of your head. Use the elastic tie (often attached at the end of the towel) to loop around the base of the towel where it meets the nape of your neck, securing it in place.

  5. Leave to Dry: You can leave the towel on for about 10-20 minutes, allowing it to absorb moisture. The lightweight design and elastic tie ensure it stays snug and secure without slipping, letting you move around freely.

  6. Remove and Style: Once your hair is partially dried, remove the towel by gently undoing the elastic tie and unwrapping it. Your hair will be less damp and ready for further drying or styling.

This method minimises hair damage, reduces drying time, and helps to prevent frizz.
